With regards to the New Forest walking weekends, we have enjoyed several of these led by Steve and Richard from the Forestdale Hotel and they have always been very successful.
The area you walk in has some stunning scenery, and new friends are made on every visit.
Service and food in the hotel is second to none and the walks are always started with a short  interesting talk about the forest by Richard on the Friday evening and rounded off by a super quiz devised by Steve on the Saturday evening.
The Sunday walk takes on a different complexion as the last few have contrasted by being on the coast looking over to the Isle of Wight. They are all of course punctuated by a stop at a local hostelry where refreshments are greatly accepted.
To conclude, these breaks cannot be faulted and I would recommend them to anybody who enjoys good food, good company, fresh air and exercise.

Thanks for a brilliant weekend- fantastic walks, fascinating talks and great humour! Extremely professional without taking yourselves too seriously. We'll be back!

Walks with Steve are always a good day out. His extensive knowledge of the New Forest and surrounding area mean that we always get to go off the beaten track and see more of the beautiful countryside.

Having lived in the area all his life, Steve treats us to anecdotes and snippets of history from his past, as well as the Forest history.

Steve always prepares the walks in advance to make sure that we don’t come across any hazards, such as fallen trees or swollen rivers. The only thing that can’t be prepared for is the English weather, but even in a rain shower the Forest can be very beautiful.

But most of all the walks are a thoroughly good day out, because of Steve’s sense of fun and adventure.

All the groups and I enjoyed the walks so much, you have such a knowledge of the New Forest, the history, the animals, the plants. You make the Forest alive!

Wish you a lot of success, hopefully your website will attract more customers for you.
I certainly hope to meet you again next year,
hartelijke groeten,

My first introduction to walking in the New Forest was on a singles walking weekend with Steve as the leader.  I couldn't have asked for a better leader.  Not only did he put us all at ease and calm our nerves (for me this was my first holiday as a single and I was very nervous!) but also the walks were very enjoyable.  His local knowledge is excellent, not just about where to walk, but also about local history, wildlife and conservation.   His attention to detail in terms of walking routes and timing is outstanding.   He recce-d part of the walk at the very last minute due to heavy recent rainfall in order to make sure we wouldn't encounter any problems and you can rest assured that he will always get you to the pub on time!

 Hi Steve and Richard

I just wanted to write and let you know that Tony and I thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend of walking over Dartmoor.  The whole experience was enhanced by being part of a group and the luxury of being guided meant that we could relax and let someone else worry about the nagivating for a change.  We are so glad that Maggie and Alec had such a great, if wet, experience in the New Forest that they wanted to do it again and luckily for us, they thought that we might enjoy it too.  We certainly did.  The camaraderie of the group, the evening meals, the quiz and the cream tea all helped to make it really special.  I have to say that the Hotel Manager absolutely made a great weekend a perfect one; he was superb and I have said as much on Tripadvisor.

It was great to meet yourselves and the other walkers were all charming and interesting people.  We hope to meet again.  With sincere thanks,

 Hi Steve
Here I am, a week later, to let you know what a special morning's walk we all had with you . The four of us had a special time - a great start to what was a week's celebration of a special birthday. Everything fell into place with a beautiful walk in fine spring weather. We learned so much about the forest from you - you made the walk interesting, informative as well as fun. We'll certainly be back later in the year.

Our best wishes for your continued success and thanks from all of us.

I joined a small group of travellers for a weekend hosted by Steve and Richard on behalf of a solo travel company and cannot recommend Fuzzacker Guided Walks highly enough. Both the guys were excellent guides and companions who put us all at ease and did everything to make our walks successful with the right mix of local history, factual information and fun. Walking out of the Forest into the pub garden for lunch was a lovely touch and a welcome break in the shade. Our trip across Kings Lawn was magical and looked like a scene from olde England with its herds of ponies and assorted cattle. Sunday's shorter walk was another delight with everything from the tiniest flowers to be admired to an opportunity to climb fallen trees. They will definitely be seeing me again, and this time with friends.
