Get close to Nature with a seasonal walking break

The New Forest is beautiful all year round but perhaps reaches its spectacular best in the Spring and Autumn. And that is a great time to get close and personal with nature with a guided walk through quiet glades, open heathland and along the edge of meandering wooded streams.

To make the experience even more pleasurable you can now enjoy a weekend break package at an excellent 3-star hotel situated in the very heart of the Forest. Fuzzacker Guided Walks have combined with the Beaulieu Hotel to provide an all-inclusive package of walks, talks, food and accommodation.

Your weekend break starts on Friday evening with wine and a pre-dinner illustrated talk which whets the appetite for the forthcoming walks. A day walk directly from the hotel follows on Saturday with a stop at a Forest pub halfway, returning to a cream tea and some down time (or perhaps a swim in the hotel pool?) before dinner which is then followed by a fun quiz. You can then round off the weekend with another walk after breakfast before finishing at lunchtime.

Walks are conducted at a leisurely pace and the experienced guides, all of whom live and work in the New Forest, show a great passion and knowledge about the history, wildlife, and management of the Forest.  They also take pleasure in leading you “off the beaten track” to places and sights that you would not otherwise experience.

The Beaulieu Hotel is surrounded by rolling heathland and lies on the Lyndhurst to Beaulieu road. It has the added benefit of an adjacent railway station on the Waterloo-Bournemouth line.

The break represents excellent value with prices from £175pp which includes all meals (except pub stops on walks) and guide fees. The next programmed weekends are 28-30th March and 17-19th October 2014 although individual groups of 8 people or more can negotiate their own dates.
